RECOGNITION:  A special National Navy Mothers' Day, in August of each year, was proclaimed by the Navy Dept. in recognition of the dedicated women who are interested in the welfare of the men and women in the US Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Sea Bees.

NATIONAL:  The National Convention, with delegates from every Club in the US is held biennially in the even years; this Convention is held in a different section of the country each time.  State Conventions are held biennially in the odd years.
